Claim to be "EMS Electrical" and "because of the high number of house fires in my postcode, they want to do a test of the wireing in my house" There haven t been any house fires in my postcode for 30 years. It s a SCAM !

BEWARE - THIS IS NOT THE TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE. They call themselves Telephone Preference Management and say they are able to block all nuisance calls. They ask you to confirm your name & address so they can be sure they are speaking to the person who can give consent for your telephone number to be added to their nuisance call blocking service. I said my number was not to be added to anything they provide at which point the indian sounding voice at the other end of the line started getting louder. I
More unwanted numbers just block them. They are spam and they are driving me round the bend.
Claiming to be from promotions carphonewarehouse. Checked with company they confirmed its a scam.
