Supposedly BT, claiming that my internet connection would be terminated in 24 hours due to “hacking activity”. They’re just even trying these days.
SCAM suspected. Was asking about my internet and wanted me to go to my pc and follow instructions.

07310218826 called 11Aug23 at 10:32hrs. Recorded message about unauthorised use of my Visa card. Lengthy message so I didn't wait for the end, sounded a familiar pattern. Hung up.

prerecorded message about how I was eligible for £1000 pension bonus. Needed to press 5 to find out how to collect it. Pressed 5 as knew it was a scam but was really curious!Went to call center noise for a second then the phone cut off.

kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
Computer started playing up this morning, weird happenings on screen then this lot phoned and said they were Microsoft Reading and we'd be hacked. Spoke for three quarters ...
