These people are cold callers who pretended I had previously contacted them to discuss investment opportunities and requested a call back - all of which is a LIE. Worryingly, they knew my name, so are obviously harvesting either hacked data or illegally traded personal information (I'm signed on to the telephone preference scheme and do NOT accept cold calls) Caller was a native English speaker who was pretty persistent with his false story and then hung up on me when he realised I couldn't be conned by it

Not interested, they started with that I was in the final listings to win a mini Cooper. At that point I just I would like my name removed for all future phone calls and just hung up-
fraudulent call pretending to be from HMRC specifying immediate legal action if not returned. HMRC do not ring they send documents and they do not end the call with "take care"!!!
