Called the number back and a recorded message says that it was a call from Media Search and was not important - have blocked the number because no doubt they will call back and try and sell me something.

This number is used illegally by someone trying to sell financial services. Since the calls are illegal in many cases and dishonest in at least 1 case of which I am aware, it s unlikely to be anybody legitimate on the other end.
