SCAM A clever scam, pretending to be your household appliance insurers, renewing your insurance. You get taken through a long boring process, asking you the name of the maker of your fridge freezer, how they don't insure against malicious damage, blah blah ... after about ten minutes the baited hook is dropped: you haven't made any claims, so you can renew at a big discount ... they just need your bank details so they can set up a new direct debit. Very convincing, and I'm sure many people bite.
