Indian call centre professing to be the Carphone Warehouse.
Asked to speak to the BT account holder, placed on hold - they hung up before I got to the phone. Not sure if this is a legit BT caller or a telemarketer.

either poor quality sales or a scam, wanted to come and do a survey for loft insulation but didn't answer my questions and hung up on me when I asked what their 'replacement' insulation was - told me fibre loft insulation needed replacing which is nonsense.

This is a scam purporting to be Santander. Sent a spoofed text appearing to be from Santander saying that suspicious activity had taken place on my card and they needed me to verify but they would send further texts from a different number. Called Santander and they confirmed this is not them! Do not give them your details!!
