SCAM My Swedish number was certainly sold to this scammer. I read the review here and refused to answer.
Claimed to be virgin media stating computer had been hacked and were going to take me through steps to secure it. Hung up immediately.
Missed call I missed their call and I have no idea if the call was genuine or not, all I can say is I don't recognise the number and I always consider unknown callers to be dodgy

Scam message starting Hi mum, I broke my phone. A colleague went along with a similar request to what’s app their new number, then got requests for money to buy new phone.

My laptop locked when I pressed a link, it stated my IP address was compromised and gave me this number to ring Microsoft. I called it was not professional I knew something was up do not follow their instructions. Close and restart your PC

This is my personal mobile number and has been spoofed. So it's definitely a scam. Don't fall for whatever they are offering you, it won't end well.
Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.
