Very suspect. Loads of people reporting as fake HMRC. HMRC would not do this.

SCAM 0161 250 6713 This number phoned and left a Voice Mail. I listened to the message. It’s an automated computer generated message speaking in an American accent telling me they are a police officer (officer Dennis Grey) asking me to return the call as it’s ‘time sensitive’. If I don’t return the call I had better get my solicitor ready!! DEFINITELY A SCAM. 0161 is a Manchester area code. DO NOT ANSWER OR RETURN THE CALL AS THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Getting calls twice a day. 1st time I answered and somebody was trying to tell me about IVA's. Ive now blocked the caller but with calls showing up at least twice a day i got curious and tried calling back. Voicemail just says I was caller by Better Energy. I googled Better Energy but their number is a Nottingham number
