Just got an automated call claiming to be HMRC (clearly not) and saying I had a tax fraud against me. I needed to push 1 to acknowledge or they would issue the fraud letter. I hang up.

A call from this number is an Amazon Prime Scam. An automated call telling you to press 1 to cancel a payment that is about to be taken from your bank account.
SCAM. foreign voice advised I had won a 40% discount card for use in several supermarkets. He then went on to ascertain as to which ten years' tranch my age fell. I replied, without being explicit, it was one of the ones mentioned. He rang off.
