SCAM!!!!! automated message from an advised Fraud Investigation officer advising of an active court case. Called the number and gave name only to be provided with detailed information that I have defrauded HMRC DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION - -END CALL and confirm any issues with HMRC directly

I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.
