TAXES / HMRC Slightly odd I was informed by an automated voice that I was accused of a tax fraud. I had to press 1 or else a warrant for my arrest would be issued!!! I pressed 1 Automated American voice told me my call was important and to hold the line. After a couple of minutes I was through to a customer service assistant who asked for my name. He then brought up my file (his words) and needed to confirm my home address. I told him I am currently out of the country and he hung up?!

Two automated calls today saying my internet will be shut-down in the next 24 hours as my computer IP address has been compromised and to hold the line to speak to an engineer who will give me another IP address that's not compromised?!?!?!?!?! Me-thinks this is a scam? I hung up.
