Stating to be HMRC and a tax fraud alert has been made in my name. I had to press 1 to talk to an officer or an arrest warrant would be made and I would have police at my door immediately. SCAM of some sort, I didnt press 1 so dont know what they would have done
A quick google tells me more than the caller did, Gwyn Evans - commercial vehicle recovery. Unfortunately both times they call but don?t speak, obviously if it?s because I answered ?hello? with no company name it?s because they called my house number! Most people realise it must be the wrong number but have the decency to a) apologise and b) not call again, but these people obviously don?t have any manners...
This number has called me three times this afternoon but has rung off when answered!. My guess is a call centre blocked by BT.

i seem to be a taget this last while for getting these scam calls, this number called me while i was driving so luckly i didn't answer it. The number looks like a land line from Belfeast but one i wasn't familer with. So i checked and and it is a scam. Please do not answer this number or any you are unsure of. I laerned this leason a few yeard back.

Female, Asian accent. Stated name was Crystal. Calling from BT(?) The internet connection to the property would be cut-off in 48 hours unless a PC procedure was followed as per instructions. The reason given - Cyber criminals were using an open port on a PC to distribute malware. Upon stating I thought Firewall protected the PC from such abuse, the call was dropped. I'm presuming this is a scam with intent to gain access to BT account info & PC data.
