Received a phone call from this number saying they were from BT Technical department and asked me to turn my computer on as the iternet is running slow. I said can you confirm my name and account number before I go any further. They gave me a random number

Answered the call as it woke me up thinking it might be a friend as I have had a new sim card, didn't speak for a couple seconds to see if they would first and as I went to say something they hung up, reading about others getting this call I'd say I'm not missing out much

I have a call blocker which cuts off scammers or unsolcited calls but this number calls nearly every 2 days but we are not disturbed as our call blocker does not let it through. If this was a genuine firm they would leave a message on the anwering maching.
