Rang on the landline, no one there when answered. Then rang my old mobile which I didn t answer. Then rang my newer mobile, I answered & heard a voice but then no one replied so hung up. Checked number on-line. It s a scam trying to get your personal info. I never give out my numbers but have bought a number of items through Paypal recently which does hold all my telephone no.s. Very worried about Paypal security. Where did this scammer get my info!!

Totally insidious. Persuaded my father to download files that gave them remote access then got him to access his online bank account as "Microsoft" had accidently paid him 4000 GBP. Bullied him into trying to "pay it back" and eventually insisting he go to the Post Office to pay them back. After 2 hours Dad was utterly distressed and put the phone down. We had to cancel all his debit and credit cards, run a 4 hour PC clean up and called in the police.
