Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.

I contacted Volkswagen UK (using the form on their website) about a problem with my car that was not sorted under warranty, but should have been. Some time later I received a call from this number and it was VW Customer Care.

Rang 3or4 times a day, then just hung up . When a girl did answer and I told her politely I wasn t interested, she wouldn t take no for an answer and got really aggressive

After care sales call - confirming delivery date for an order I placed and asking if i d like to take an AO.com cover plan. so I suspect an additional sales call in guise of delivery date confirmation.

Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.

calling mobile claiming it was smart meters told him i do not do cold calls and he put phone and tried to claim it was free when they had costs to bill,kept phoning my mobile and put it auto reject

Sorry you re all getting harrassed by that. We recently got harrassed too by multiple numbers, be it America, Germany etc. These are the very famous people from India with their "Microsoft Technical Support". Don t answer calls that are from outside the UK or wherever you live in and dont even answer numbers that are too short to even be valid.

I am so cross. This number rings me countless times a day despite being blocked on my phone! They manage to leave a recorded message on my phone (I have hundreds of them in my inbox!) telling me to call a certain number to stop the calls...i have done this and they STILL call me daily. Fed up now.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Uniform Tax Credits - scamming money out of tax breaks you can claim directly from HMRC - they ask for a fee plus 26% - Companies House has all the info folks Company Number 09455243 1 director only.... he has loads going on PPI, Flats etc... Marketing Consultant given as occupation. You want his name and address - go to company house

Recorded message on answer phone from "talk talk" stating that internet connection has been compromised, never had a contract with talk talk !!

Rang my business, answered with my business name, brief silence then they put the phone down.

This scam company have demanded 29 pounds cancellation charge from my dad and have sent the demand using a different company name but with the same phone number the new name is Secure Telephone Services LTD beware of these scammers!!
