This person somehow had details of my car accident and pretended to be my insurer (Santander which was ironically correct) and he was asking all sorts of probing questions. I called him a fraudster / knew he was a scammer and he hung up on me.

Call claiming to be HMRC and having a warrant for arrest unless a payment is made. nThis is a scam and a threat. They say Dial 1 to speak but of course DO NOT.
Caller said he was from British Gas and requested security information before he could continue call. When I refused told me that I needed to phone British Gas. I did so on a trusted number and they said could find no reason why they might have called me.
They said I was due a reduction in Life Assurance but hung up when I questioned it.
