Answered the call but no one responded and then they put the phone down.

SCAM / SPAM HMRC Scam!!! Calling randomly then an automated message tells that you have a tax fraud on your nMe what is serious, connect the call or they will come arrest you. DO NOT CONNECT THE CALL!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS!!

Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!

Tried to establish the authenticity of this company, they are data mining, e.g. "may I start with your name please sir" etc... then trying to sell you some PPI Claim back from banks. Quick to hang up when questioned, of a dubious nature in my opinion.
