Among the seven calls that failed to get an answer because I was out was this. I have disabled the recording device on my telephone to prevent people leaving messages because most calls are uninvited and a nuisance. The people I recognise as bona fide get called back, having been filtered by this process. This call was a mystery until I looked it up on other online sites. Number displayed as coming from Cerne Abbas (which is in Dorset). I called number back whereupon a recorded message announced that your call is very important to us and to please stay on the line to speak to the next available agent. I didn't bother.
