Whoever this was, they phoned my mobile number, and not recognising this call, I belatedly answered it - no-one on the other end of this call - ANNOYING.
Fraud
Had a similar call yesterday from a different number. I said "hello?" a few times; nothing from their end but > 10s of silence (no "call centre" noises), then a bleep, then call cut off a few seconds later.
Going on about an imaginary survey that I had apparently filled in online. Started pressing me for personal info about myself so told em to "foxtrot Oscar".
SCAM
recorded message claiming to be calling on behalf of HRMC because there was a tax fraud case on my name. Inviting me to press 1 to know otherwise an arrest warranty will be issued.
