Called to say I had compensation waiting for me from an accident I had supposidly had. I note that a few people have indicated they received a call from this number after posting ads on Gumtree. I had just placed an ad on Gumtree! It s a scam and told him not to call again

Caller said they were from O2 said I had applied for a free Sim card on line. I haven t, told her she was not from O2 and to remove me from the mailing list they had obviously bought from somewhere. Sick of these nuisance calls. Number is now blocked.

Automated call, said it was British Telecoms(full name not just BT) saying my phone and internet contract was being terminated. Search for number gave origin as Switzerland but ...
When I called back I got an answerphone message saying they were Charity Checkout. Another annoying nuisance call.
Accident claim ambulance chaser
If you've received a WhatsApp message from this person then chances are you're a female in her 20s/30s that's recently been talking to someone on a dating app. They will put a company logo as the profile picture but its fake, its some twat from tinder. Block them.
