24-11-17 this number called this morning at 6.39 - rushed to answer as thought bad news - no one on other end. Glad no one answered a they would have got a mouthful of abuse from me.
This number called me twice. When I rang it back it was a German speaker for Secret Escapes. They apologised and said that there must be a technical fault as they were not calling out. Very nice people!

SCAM / SPAM Scammers pretending to be HMRC! They pretended to be an HMRC call centre and pick up the line from a queue asking what it is about before they got my name in order to check and find out. Once they got that, they told me I am wanted for fraud, which is a criminal offence and asked if I have a criminal lawyer I can contact. This person somehow had details of my car accident and pretended to be my insurer (Santander which was ironically correct) and he was asking all sorts of probing questions. I called him a fraudster / knew he was a scammer and he hung up on me.
Usual Indian "helpdesk" offering to fix a problem I didn't have, messed with them for 30mins until they cottoned on and terminated the call :)
