Had call saying they were from Google/Microsoft saying and that someone in USA was trying to get into my laptop and that the whole world can see all my info. I told them it was a scam, when I checked number it was automated message from Kings College Hosp

Aggressive Microsoft Support scam. Very insistent and bold. Threatened to revoke licence unless they can inspect your computer. Will promise to call back etc.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17089074xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, Accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

A lady called to say my husband met with an accident and urgently needs money for life saving surgery. He was sitting right beside me. These people are very dangeroux!

This number (01613028217) called me just after six o’clock apparently telling me that there was nobody available to answer my call ( which I have never made), but giving me another number which would be able to deal with my ( non-existing) enquiry. The new number supplied (01618148666 ) doesn’t have many posts on this site yet so I presume that its one that’s newly in use. I believe that these numbers are in fact a new style of scamming bait and on this basis I think that I will never try to ring either num

Fraud Claiming to say that my National Insurance number has been compromised with a quite ropey sounding automated message, which surprise surprise it asks you to press 1 to speak to someone and no doubt hand over your details. Using different mobile numbers from EE so likely using burner phones etc.

Some landline from London area, this is definitelly some call centre, there are more similar numbers reported for calling people. Have seen different reasons of individual calls, just be aware that one number used by the same call centre can be after short period of time used for another purpose. I recommend to block the whole 2036342xxx range... Did someone answer THIS number?

SCAM Recorded message by well-spoken English lady purporting to be from Amazon - concerned about high value order etc etc...HANG UP & BLOCK!!!

This number was supposed to be a dedicated customer service text service for Flawless Cosmetics. I made an order on 9th Feb 2022,paid by credit card and a couple of days later I received an email to say the order was on its way. Its 4th March and still no product. I texted the number to ask where my order was. The reply was "Arriving soon". I asked "when". No response. i left it a couple of days and asked again. The reply was "soon". Im still waiting. Ha
