Automated message telling me that my internet would be cut off within 24 hours due to illegal activity
Recorded message saying a payment of 900 had gone out of my Visa account, requesting I press 1 to continue, obvious scam call no mention of the name of my bank.
Very aggressive caller stating we had verbally agreed to advertising something with them over 5 months ago. Stated to opt out of verbal contract was ?50 otherwise ?149. No such phone call was ever received as we do not need to advertise anything especially in Manchester!!!!
As soon as I picked up the phone the line went dead - a very disreputable practice, and usually not a sign of good intent.
SCAM / SPAM Rang but left no message.. so potentially must be a scam. If was important, would of left message.
