'Dave', aledgedly from BT, rang to say my internet speed was very slow. To fix it, he needed remote access to my computer or smart phone. I told him I was recording the call and he hung up. Clearly a scam call. Working from a script and not able to cope with my many questions!

The probability is that this is being initiated by morons with an overall IQ of zero. The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. The only staff was Arslan Majeed who was both secretary and Director. Born July 1983.

I do not answer phone numbers beginning 01202 as when checked here all have been identified as possible fraud/scam calls. By mistake I answered a call from this number yesterday which led to a man trying to discuss my recent install of roof insulation (never happened). I told the man in no uncertain terms to stop calling me and guess what happened today at 1230, same number calling again ( No didn’t answer). Apparently unable to recognise rejection of their possible fraud/scam.
This is the number that DHL use to phone customers to confirm that someone will be available for a delivery or a pick up. I don t think that it rings if you call them back which is why they don t answer.
The person did not want to mention his name.
