Received a call threatening that I would face prison for tax evasion if I did not pay £3246 Said that I had not responded to a letter from HRMC sent on the 22 Jun. I stupidly called back, as I once missed a legitimate HMRC letter, and had to pay HRMC £1300 because individuals are legally accountable for their taxes, and missing a letter is not a valid excuse.
