unwanted / unsolicited caller. Random / robot calling should not be allowed as a way to get round UK legislation. Ofcom & TPS get your act together & do something about this. People have the right not to be harassed in their own homes.

I have recently been defarauded by this number for £2300
This number is legitimate, it belongs to a company called Switchboard Free. They do free 0870 numbers and they ring to check everything is alright on the account.
SCAM
Chap with an Asian accent (Indian, Pakistani possibly). Knew my full name which concerned me. Said he was calling from "Credit Investigation Department" and that his records show I was currently paying off debts in my name (false). Told him to politely bugger off and remove my number from whatever database he was using. Complained to TPS.
#Put call as unknown as no option for LOAN This compnay called me wanting to finalise the loan I had applied for, which I had not!!!! They said that this was done a few weeks ago. I said I do not think so, said goodbye and hung up.
