I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. Keep calling few times a day almost every day. Most of the time I did not answer as I was abroad and did not want to pay extra. Once or twice I replayed and there was nobody at the end of line or they just hang out.

TAXES / HMRC recorded message about my taxes. My company I work for look after all that so I knew this was a spam call. This could get people to believe they have a problem with their taxes. So I classify this as dangerous. I hung up as soon as the message started.

I understand this number is a number called by overseas sales people under the guise of being uk based.
