Recorded message from AMAZON to say my bank account would be debited by 70 pounds or more if I didn t press 1. Needless to say, I replaced the receiver.
Called me today, hung up as I answered. When I called back, no ring tone, just a single beep. Number Location Elgin in Scotland, my location south England 600 miles away.

This number called with a recorded message. Only got the last bit and it was about reclaiming money from a bank. I am registered with TPS so shouldn't be getting this sort...
The call was automated Glaswegian female voice saying "You have been contacted by (inaudible name), please call back immediately on 01413536463" the line went dead immediately. I decided to research number online as we do not have our number published in phone books. Various comments on forums suggest they are a debt collection agency called Zinc. We owe no debts and have great credit rating, so this call seems very strange! I won t be calling back either!
Called, was a gentleman (?!) with a strong Indian accent, knew my name and address and said was from Ministry of Justice and wanted to send me a cheque. I replied that he didn t really expect me to believe him did he? He told me to f*** off. I thanked him and wished the same to him too. Can t these numbers be blocked?
