An automated message supposedly from BT stating that there was suspicious activity on my internet and that I was about to be cut off. There was an option to press 1 to resolve the matter. I didn't!

Called my mobile. Asked to speak to me by name. "John" (speaking with a Merseyside accent, with a background noise that sounded like a busy call centre) said that he was from First Response, and explained that I'd been flagged up on their system in connection with a motoring accident. Told him I knew nothing about it. He said he'd remove the flag on the system. Call was then terminated.
