I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. We re not really allowed to speak with other adults on my high security wing and by constantly calling me, there s a risk that my handset will be discovered. I ve tried calling them back but can t understand the very muffled answ

Blantently a scam for loans, called me about a loan enquiry and I said I wasn't interested, the scammer hung up on me and when i call back to ask what company it is, I get hung up on again. Do not accept a loan with whoever these are, chances are they will ask you to transfer a insurance payment to release the loan to you, this is when they will block you. You won't be able to get your money back because you have willingly transferred it. Its a clever scam targeting the poor and desperate. Avoid at all cost

Cardiff number.calls me umpteen times daily never leave a message I assume it's a scam I block these numbers daily but continue to call from a different number.the government needs to do more to put a stop to this

0115 998 7607 Called to say I d apparently been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I told them I didn t own a car or drive and had not been in an accident. They then asked if my family had been and thats why they were calling me. I confirmed again nobody had been in an accident. She apologised for disturbing me and wished me a good day.
HMRC SCAM call - now blocked.
