Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. Told them I don't need their insurance as would by new if beyond economic repair, and the caller seemed surprised that I could fix a recent washing machine problem myself. It's not difficult to change the brushes on the motor or to unblock the filter
Unknown number so I never answered but I searched online and lots of people are saying its a London number and they are calling about accidents and trips or falls at work.

We are not with Amazon Prime. Had a call a couple of weeks ago, same recorded message from, 02082135196 We are ex directory, and with TPS.
Rang me 7 times today! Eventually answered and it’s just an energy company wanting me to switch suppliers, I tried being polite to get them off the phone but weren’t having it so said I was at work and to call back then I blocked the number

Beware this is a scam. the caller is an automated voice and they claim to be from the TAX office and they say you must press 1 to avoid being arrested.DO NOT DO ANYTHING, HANG UP, AND IGNORE THE CALL.
