We received a strange call from this number but seemed to come via New Zealand (but the number is too long for NZ). The caller asked me how I was etc, etc. but not a good line. When asked who she wanted to speak to hung up.

Text received from this number stating suspicious activity on my Paypal account and that they had suspended my account to prevent any fraudulent activity and to follow a link to lift the block. Clearly an attempt to get access to the Paypal account as i dont use it.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything.
