silence upon answering, then a recording saying "we re sorry we couldn t contact you and will try again later". Not now I ve blocked the number they wont.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
