got a text message from this number pretending to be someones mum, i have not replied but unsure if its a accidental text or a possible scam. (at the moment im rating it as neutral but it could lead to be dangerous so watchout)
Automated call Suspected scam using a sophisticated automated call. Received this in Newcastle area from a supposed rental association checking on my recent housing complaint. Very unlikely and either 'phishing' or some form of scam

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

Indian accented male calling himself "Antony Green" , burst into a speil about protecting my home appliances, saying that he could save me 10 quid "only for this month" to protect my appliances for 2 years. He then wanted my home address details - I told him, he should know all this "I have to check the details are right" Then you tell me what details you have and I will tell you if they are right" He read out an address that is absolutely wrong, and given my dialing code,

Call about insurance policy for domestic equipment (which isn't covered) expiring then telling you your current insurance you do have is quadruple in cost when it is for life of item covered.
