This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

SCAM: Silent at first, then automated message with regards a final warning with regards National Insurance number. Looks like the scum has moved on from HMRC, as I've blocked this every time.
Scammers. Ask you to run a windows command ( Assoc ) which magically confirms your computer number (888dca ... d062), but turns out to be the same on every recent Windows machine. Then ask you to go onto one of a few websites (e.g. www.support.me) to control your PC. Act dumb, take ages and annoy them, but never get as far as giving them control!!!

Fraud. Pretending to be part of lloyds fraud team. Might tell you that your accoutn has been comprimised and they stopped £400 from argos. Then go on to say they need to regenerate account number and sort code and transfer money into it. Please do not listen.
Answered the phone no one on the other end
Indian accent - said he was from the credit investigation department and they had received my credit file. I just hung up and blocked the number.
