Scam call saying that my BT internet contract will expire today unless I press 1 to renew. I don't have a BT internet contract.

I was called by this number, the female had a strong Asian accent I could barely understand her. She claimed that there was a problem with my computer. I hung up the phone on her.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. The message said : PostOffice: Simon tried to deIiver your parceI today, unfortunately no one was in. PIease rearrange a redelivery via: local-depot26.com
As with others this call was based on the M/S Windows approach. He also had the product serial code. Was suspicious from the start but asked him to phone back when he wanted me to use third party software so that his technicians could access the machine. The call echoed a lot at my end so I think not Bradford based. I made 25 +minutes. Had I realised it was competitive I would have kept fumbling along!
Unknown and rang straight off before could answer
Called me this morning but when I answered the phone they just hang up without telling me anything. I rang the number back just to find out it was just an outgoing number.

They call us every day asking for Mr Bedford who has never lived here. We tell them this is private number but they just hang up & call later. So fed up with them!
Had them as a missed call so glad to find from this site that its one I can ignore.
