Usual Indian accented person calling me from Talktalk to save my computer from a major disaster. They have my telephone number, IP address and supplier (Thanks a bunch Talktalk your security is rubbish) They rabbit on about my router being compromised insist that I sit at my computer where they will talk me through the problems. The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.

As mentioned Vanquis Bank use numbers from all over the UK to trick peoople into answering

Asked for me by my first name which I challenged as he did not know me and he went on to say it was a follow up call regarding an accident I d had in the last three years. Have blocked the call. This is the second call like this from a local number...I m guessing this is a new tactic.

This company are phoning 3 times per day, trying to sell boiler installation / home insulation (cavity wall etc). Despite us being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they continue to call us relentlessly - we have also asked them to stop the calls during conversations with them.

Called me, picked it up right away, waited for a hi/hello for a second and they hanged up. Probably a scam/spam call.

When voicemail kicked in the caller immediately hung up.

An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

Horrible vile text how do I find out where it comes from

not sure where they got my number from..keep disturbing me while i m at work not spoken to them and have no intention of speaking with any insurance company.
