Asked me for personal details like date of birth and other things to pass their security, to which I promptly refused as they had called me out of the blue. Told them to write to me explaining why they needed to speak to me about this personal matter . Two weeks have past and there s been no letter, just more messages left on my answerphone. Looked on their website, it says they usually send out a letter before contacting by phone, does that make my case, unusual , I don t owe anyone money, I wondering

Company claiming to be called ESL (which I can t trace) who said they wanted to help me reclaim something - the mobile number they called me on is known only to family members - I never give this one out to anyone ever - I m amazed it was used unless it was generated randomly - they didn t know my personal details (I don;t think - didn t get used in conversation but said they were passed to them - didn t get into by who - they rang off when I started asking questions.
