Rang me and claimed they had my number and details of an accident from the "UK National Survey Department". There is no such department so I knew it was bogus. I rang them back and pressed 0 to speak to an operator. The guy assumed that I was simply returning a missed call and told me that they had got my number from "Road Traffic and Accident Department". When pressed he gave me this web address, with obviously fictitious staff and testimonials: http://www.accident-expertlaw.co.uk/ Post address o

They have rung me on landline and company mobile several times offering a pension review. Might be legit, but alarm bells rang when they wanted to send someone round with a letter of authority for me to sign so they could assess my pension . Why not send the letters of authority in the mail, unless they are trying to hide who/where they are located? Suspect that if I sign the letter my pension fund would be siphoned away overnight!

Positive number
When called there is an American voice recorded message "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line & you will be transferred to next available agent..." It then plays music while caller holds. Long wait times, if you get connected to the agent. This seems to be a growing trend with different numbers continually changing. Potential fraud or scam.
Female voice informing me that my phone line was to be cut very soon in view of illegal activity on my internet connection
