Woman with strong accent (China /Indonesian) called saying she was from Microsoft. Asked if I was the owner of my computer. I hung up at that point - as suspected a scam.
Can anyone shed any light on who this is
I receive phone calls from this number on an almost daily basis. I am ex directory, rent, and when I ask where they are calling from and how they got my number I either receive abuse or, more usually, they just hang up. I am sick to death of these harassing calls and would really like to know why they cannot/have not been prosecuted?!

I know these are a debt collection agency. They have been calling at least twice a week for the last few weeks. Get a recorded message on answer phone to call them back. I am not in debt so i dont know why they are calling? I have no reason to call them.
