Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Asain male calling to try to gain acces to my computer to fix BT broadband line which had been compromised. I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT. Guy said he was from BT technical department! WHat rubbish. He even sent me a pin to agree computer access. I advised him he as a nasty little scammer adn then hung up.

Rings a couple of times. When you call back you get a message saying this call has been verified. Doesnt say who its from or give any other information.

They claim they are from the Amex fraud team, and told you that your Amex account is scammed and tried to help you block your Amex account. They also told you your iPhone is hacked and all your information in iCloud is in another phone, so all your bank accounts are in danger and you need to block all your bank accounts, and asked you what other bank accounts you have. IMPORTANT!!!! AWARE!!! They will ask you to download an app from Anydesk.com, DON'T do it. This is an app for them to control your mobile

Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. This was an automated call at 11:18am, claiming to be from a bank card provider, about two transactions from Amazon on my bank card. I did not press 1 or 2 to authorise or get help.
