Calls me every few days and hangs up when the answer phone comes on. It's lowell debt collectors! I have spoken to them in the past regarding an old littlewoods debt and they kept harassing me for more money, eventually they gave up contacting me and stopped taking £10 a month. Now my capital one credit card has sold my debt to lowell and they are phoning again! I'm not giving them a penny, even though I offered capital one a decent amount and they got shot of me.

Was a woman, sound like young, foreign accent...most likely asian. She was asking for some lady and because it seemed to be a genuine mistake I didn’t mind it at first and apologise and the hung up. Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.
