I went along with it just for the fun of it until i told him where to go and to stop trying to scam people, he told me 'I'm going to regret that' Asked for my bank details to transfer 1p to me to make sure i was the right person, even though he had my name and post code When i questioned if that was a threat, he hung up on me

scammers 10 out of 10 for trying to rip me and my wife of they call 2 or 3 times every week lol
They were calling about marketing and were extremely rude when I said I was not interested.
Automated message saying something about some suspicious activity in my name and wanted me to press 1 to connect to the officer concerned. It said I wouldn’t be able to use my national insurance number if I didn’t press 1 and talk to the officer. Didn’t mention my name if any details, and hung up after 30 seconds. Seems like a phishing scam.
