SCAM: Sixth identical call I've had today, from different numbers. Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT Internet Dept., who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this. I have to answer calls, because I am expecting a call from my doctor’s surgery about my Covid jab, but I don’t have caller display.

This no. rang me on my office no. at about 4pm today (I never tell anyone this number other than my business contacts). SCAM Phoning about a car accident I have been in within the last 24 month - claiming to be from a legal department and passed my details from my insurance. When I told them that I hadn't been in an accident -they started getting irate saying I must not remember it and why would the insurance want to release money if I hadn't.
The caller indicated that I had had a road accident, which was not the case.
