They have been calling numerous times everyday for at least a week. I have now blocked their number but the app I have used notifies me every time it blocks a call.

Called our TPS registered line. Burst of noise/music after we picked up, followed by silence then " Ello! Ow are yew?" from a caller who then immediately asked to speak to "The owner". Identified himself as "Zane" from "XLM" when asked, and then immediately launched into a scripted sales pitch. Told him to f***-off, and hung up while he was still yapping.

Something about HMRC with a robotic voice telling you to press number 1, i didn't press anything, may be a scam.

Area code is from our local area. But all numbers start with a 4. This has a 6, which is suspicious. Answered to hear call being cut off. No idea who called, just that it is...

Didn't recognise number so let it go to voicemail, no message left. Can't be important then.

We received a silent call from them which locked our line for a few minutes even when we put the phone down and pick it up again. We dialed 1471 and got the above number which I called on my mobile but withheld our number and they identified themselves as the above company, as soon as we got the name, we hang up. They claim to be a child cancer support group offering advertising for small businesses in a brochure which is handed out to thousands of people. They expect a fee of £149+ VAT ...

There have been several calls from this number and nearly every time they say nothing. Tied to call back to see who they are but always engaged. I would recommend you have nothing to do with this lot

Said recorded call from HMRC taking us to court for tax evasion. Load of rubbish did not take call any further as knew it was bogus

Had yet another call this morning, message left on the landline answering machine. I have asked repeatedly for my number to be removed because they are asking for someone that isn t me. Every time they say they will remove my number, it goes quiet for a few weeks, then starts all over again. I ve had the same number for 16 years and have told them this, but they still keep calling.
