silent call, could hear a call centre in the background
SCAM call received from this number today. Asked for me by name, having called on my ex-directory TPS registered landline number. Said he was Jamie from Pension Redress. As I haven’t asked for any contact from anyone, I hung up.

Fraud claim to inform me of transaction on my card but I have only ever had text messages from my bank when a suspect transaction has occurred so thin k this may be fraud.
Second call in 2 days. Appears to be An Amazon Prime scam. Delay on the phone line, then message kicked in regarding renewal of Amazon Prime and to press button 1 to speak to service manager. Hung up as I don’t have Amazon Prime.

01483 912149 is a harassing company called MotorEasy. Despite telling them numerous times on previous calls, no thank you. The caller is harassing, today it was a guy called Freddie who was both combative and hostile. When will these people ever learn?

Phoned saying they were from BT and I had a very serious internet problem - caller was clearly from India, so I asked him what part of England he was calling from and he said London, even though the number says Pickering. Was very insistent that I had a serious internet problem, in the end I just hung up

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Phoned said my name then said its your bank we need to veryfi unusual activity on your bank account, give me your full name, address date of birth. I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.
