This number, 01223660041, rang my mobile and I declined the call. Then I immediately received a missed call text from a different number, 01515249700. I called both back yo see who had called and both had the same identical message, sounding like "thanks for calling fresh contacts. Please wait for next agent" at which point I terminated my call.
This Indian lady rang up saying if I was happy with my current energy tariff who she said was Scottish Power (it isn t), I said I was quite happy with my provider and promptly hung up.

Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?
The usual 'you've been in an accident' from a woman with an Australian or NZ accent. I asked her if it ever troubled her conscience to call up strangers and tell them outright lies. She asked me when the accident was. I said 'we both know you're lying'. She hung up.

Received a call at 11.00 am this morning. Did not volunteer and name simply saying this is UK pensions and were ringing to raise awareness of pensioners of charges. I had to really press to ask who they really were and name of the company - they would only say UK pensions, a lie. Be ware if they ask for any personal information!
