28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.
Block and NEVER touch any buttons other than end call, robotic call scam about Amazon Prime expired press 1 to be transferred... yeah probably to a premium rate call, total scam.

An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. Text Message out of the blue saying "Hello, is this Anna? I'm not sure if I have the wrong number." I didn't respond.
Call centre wanting to sell me a new phone - not sure of the company as the young man had a strong Indian accent and was difficult to understand.
The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.
