Was called today from this no. An Asian sounding chap introduced himself as Robin Waterman from B.T. and told me my broadband would be closed down for 10 days. When I asked him for the no. he was calling from he gave me a different no. to the one on my caller display. When I asked which of the 2 broadband accounts I am responsible for was affected he said the first one! Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

Foreign female voice said she was calling from Nationwide and someone at my telephone number had had an accident in the last 3 years. No-one has! Actually sounded like a recorded message as there was no response to comments I made! Belong to the TPS and getting really fed up with calls of this type.

Twice this number called me. The second time immediately after I cancelled the first call. I refuse to answer any unknown numbers and I have not given whom ever they are my number or given permission to anyone else to do so. Seriously thinking about changing my number but I doubt that will solve these unwanted calls.

guy called up and asked for someone who no longer works here, advised them of that. They called me a liar and then slammed the phone down on me

Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! It s a welsh number and I don t know anyone that lives in Wales.
