Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. They come from various numbers in different towns - Goole, Machynlleth, Peterhead, Thurso, Merthyr Tydfil,Yeovil, Strathy,Manchester (4x), Leeds and more - this is just off my phone. Caller was automated voice saying congratulations you have won either an ipad or £500 press 2 to acknowledge and we will call you back. Needless to say I did not press 2 as I am very wary of any callers who I do not know. I may have lost £500 or an ipad but I doubt it?!!!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8435507xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
